Internationally acclaimed ambient-pop musician Grouper performs from her haunting and dream-like new album, Shade.
Known for her distorted and hazy washes of sound as much her sparse intensity, Liz Harris AKA Grouper, creates music that is intimate yet inscrutable, existing as much in the background as the forefront of you mind. Her voice whispers along, communicating emotion and ideas at the edge of perceptibility, focusing less on being heard and more on being understood.
Her twelfth album Shade features works that were written over the past fifteen years highlighting her prolific career while still remaining unrelentingly distinct.
