Hello again.

Argeo Ascani’s intersection with music began with a childhood dream of playing the theme song to the Pink Panther cartoon. Since then, much has happened. As a performer, they have traveled to many places, played much music, and worked with many people. As an educator they have taught in the Music History and Contemporary Performance Practice departments at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, led symposiums with professors from Harvard, Princeton, Stanford and IRCAM, and have lectured in over a dozen countries. As a curator, they were Curator, Music at EMPAC - the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and Programmer, Music and Festivals at the Momentary at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. As an album producer, they have supported and produced dozens of albums on labels including Warp, Cantaloupe, Hyperdub, New Amsterdam, Tzadik, New Focus Recordings, Kranky, Bedroom Community, and Wergo. Currently, Argeo can be found as Director of Artistic Operations at the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts.
